Founder Profiles

Paul DePorre
Paul is a real estate attorney who has dedicated his 20-year career to handling all legal issues related to owning commercial property, including helping commercial property owners lower their property taxes. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University’s James Madison College in 1988 and his law degree from Wayne State University in 1991.

Paul’s expertise in property appeals is backed by his extensive litigation and transactional work in commercial real estate. Additionally, his experience-based wisdom comes from owning and managing his own portfolio of commercial property and from representing a rich mixture of well-educated and experienced commercial property owners.

Paul is a member of the Michigan State Bar and is a licensed real estate broker. He serves on several charitable boards and also volunteers his time as a board member on the Oxford Downtown Development Authority.

Mark Hubbard
Mark graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He obtained his law degree from the University of Michigan and became licensed to practice law in 1986. Since that time, he has focused his practice on real estate.

Mark represents developers, users, tenants, lenders and investors in a broad range of matters. He has extensive experience in the site planning process, development, construction, leasing, sale and financing of a wide variety of projects, including single-family subdivisions, multi-family projects, hotels, luxury resort communities, shopping centers, mixed-use projects and office buildings. Being a real estate developer and investor has given him a unique, practical approach to the legal process.

Mark is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and a licensed real estate broker. He is actively involved with several charitable and university boards. He also volunteers his time as a youth football coach.
